About Our Cofounders

Rob Torres and Sia Torres are the cofounders of ParentBrief, a platform dedicated to helping parents make informed decisions about their children's media consumption.

It started with a Saturday trip to the public library. Rob picked out a colorful children's book for his 8-year-old daughter, cheerful cover, age-appropriate label, friendly illustrations. It looked safe.

A few days later, his daughter came to him confused: "Daddy, why were those two women kissing in the book? Why was there so much fighting and blood? What does gambling mean?"

Rob grabbed the book. Page after page of content he'd never have chosen, violence, gambling, mature themes, all hidden behind that kid-friendly cover. He'd checked everything, but it wasn't enough.

That's when Rob and Sia realized: there had to be a better way.

Today, ParentBrief serves over 50,000 families worldwide, helping parents protect their children from inappropriate content before it's too late.
